| The SAE student chapter members put their engineering class training to work
as they build vehicles and place them into real world competition against other Chapter teams at
SAE-sanctioned events. With these activities, they work together as a team, learning from each other
and how to work together as they will when they enter the business world. |
| A new SAE Chapter will be joining the event this year, St. Cloud State University . Be sure to make your reservations for this event to hear this new group
and the returning chapters as they present design / development of their 2006 - 2007 vehicles and
their most recent competition efforts. Presentation lineup for the April meeting will be: |
- Formula SAE, with a focus on Formula-type race vehicles: University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, Minnesota State University - Mankato, and now St. Cloud State University
- Mini Baja, with a focus on the off-road vehicle: University of Wisconsin - Stout,
University of St. Thomas
- Clean Snowmobile Challenge, with a focus on noise and emission control: Minnesota State
University - Mankato
