The National Science Foundation (NSF) has recently announced a new Engineering Research Center (ERC) for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power. The ERC, headquartered at the U of MN, is a collaborative research effort between the NSF, several leading universities and industry. Dr. Stelson is the Director of the ERC and will be presenting an overview of the Center's research strategy, as well as, the planned test beds which includes a passenger car with a fluid power hybrid powertrain.
