The Twin Cities Section of SAE will receive a presentation on Harley's V-Rod Motorcycle. Presentation plans include a cut-away view of the new H-D engine design. |
|||
| About the V-Rod: | |||
Powered by a revolutionary 1130cc engine developing 115Hp this water
cooled Harley has been called a "new branch on the tree." Developed over a seven year
period the V-ROD made huge strides over new ground for Harley-Davidson. We will take a detailed
look at the vehicle and its development. The Harley-Davidson Motor Company Electromagnetic
Compatibility (EMC) Laboratory is accredited by the American Association for Laboratory
Accreditation (A2LA). A brief definition of EMC as it relates to automotive testing will be
provided, plus a look into the Product Development Center - Harley’s 210,000 square foot
R&D facility located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. |
