| The SAE student chapter members put their engineering class training to work as they build vehicles and place them into real world competition against other Chapter teams at SAE-sanctioned events. With these activities, they work together as a team, learning from each other and how to work together as they will when they enter the business world. |
| Be sure to make your reservations for this event to hear our various chapters as they present design / development of their 2007 - 2008 vehicles and their most recent competition efforts. Presentation lineup for the April meeting will be: |
- Formula SAE, with a focus on Formula-type race vehicles: University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, Minnesota State University - Mankato, and now St. Cloud State University
- Mini Baja, with a focus on the off-road vehicle: University of Wisconsin - Stout, University of St. Thomas
- Clean Snowmobile Challenge, with a focus on noise and emission control: Minnesota State University - Mankato
|
| More than 25,000 engineering students have tremendous benefits from their participation in this competition and graduated with SAE collegiate design experience. |
