A World in Motion

 

The SAE - Twin Cities Chapter would like to introduce a community volunteer initiative this year. A World in Motion ® (AWIM), which is managed by the Society of Automotive Engineers, is a program that joins teachers, students, and industry volunteers in an exploration of physical science while addressing essential mathematic and scientific concepts and skills.

AWIM engages Primary through High School students in design projects that aim to set goals, build knowledge, design, build & test and present their work. AWIM has reached more than 4 million students across the U.S and Canada with participation from 18,000 schools and more than 20,000 volunteers!
