| OnStar Background and Responsibilities: |
| Served as Vehicle and XM Services Manager during 2006 - 2007. John was responsible for End to End (E2E) development of technologies and
services related to the vehicle. This included the tasks of OVD Email (OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics), Diagnostics Services, GM Quality improvement Enablers. He has also provided support for Emerging Alternative Powertrains
(Fuel Cell, REEV, HEV, etc.) and was involved with XM Radio Services and Hardware. |
| During 2004-2005, John served as Core Technologies Manager. He was involved with E2E development of key technologies, such as Significant
Integration / Cost Reduction for RF / Antennas, Voice Recognition Evaluation Tools, Autonomous to Integrated with Vehicle Sensors for GPS systems, Wireless
Packet Technologies, and Evaluation Tools and Procedures for Hand Free Communications. |
| During 2001-2003, he was the New Services and Technology Manager and was responsible for lead technical development of new E2E technologies
such as Generation 6 Continuous Voice Recognition, Generation Turn by Turn operations and AACN (Advanced
Automatic Crash Notification) and OVD Email Concept. |
| Visteon Corporation, Multimedia Electronics Business Unit: During 1999-2001, John served as Supervisor for the Core Wireless Technology,
developed and led strategy for movement into telematics including embedded and portable 2 way communication devices, Auto PC, WingCast and other technologies. |
| Ford Motor Company, Electronics Division: During 1989-1999, John was involved with Core Wireless Technology Supervisor, Ford Rescue System,
European Radio Design Engineer in Basildon, UK, Auxiliary Audio Controls Engineer, Cellular and Audio Systems Application Engineer, and the Ford College
